Turning Snowfall Generation off?

I've been searching around for a while and have only come across a forge mod that completely turns all snowfall into rain, but this isn't what i'm looking for.

Is there a toggle or mod out there that simply stops new snow from generating when the weather shifts? It'd be nice to have the snowing effect without having the need to shovel it away. Let's say plugins aren't a feasible alternative as well. Thanks for any input.

EDIT: I'll further explain since the initial point may have been missed by some reading.

Snowfall is awesome. Rain is awesome. Both with shaders is incredible. Keeping both and the shaders is ideal. The only issue is the snow accumulation when it snows. .

It's like enjoying watching the snowfall but hate having to shovel the driveway/sidewalk afterwards: Similar concept. Yes it's strange t ohave snow but no ground build up, but i'd rather not run around typing /thaw with world edit afterwards just to enjoy the visuals.

Oh I just had another idea! What about Snow Control by zwollner? It's designed to perpetually accumulate the snow, but you can adjust how quickly it accumulates. Maybe you can set it to never accumulate at all?

At this point it seems i'm just going to have to delve into that route. Searching is tiring and probably better spent learning plugin/forge merging. Here we go then.

Edit: Thanks for the inquiries everyone

You missed the point of the topic; I'll just edit the main post so more people don't misinterpret by accident.

You can just set up a clock with a command block to do /weather clear constantly.

The server's foundation has been made around forge as our previous ones were made using bukkit. I know there are a few ways to go about combining forge and plugins, but i'm a little wary about making a base server more "unstable" by adding more variables and such. I'll be hosting the server for the first time and forge was pretty straightforward along with liteloader, and i'm honestly not too confident with combining more at the moment.

Side note, I just stumbled upon this mod and it seems like an awesome concept. Snow melting afterwards sounds pretty neat. Anyone have experience with it? http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/ ... t-snowfall

Ah man, I was going to say that one of the WorldGuard flags would be the right thing to use but it's a plugin.. x_x;

With snow-fall deny on the region and then editing the config, it'd fit right to the bill to what you want.
But I've been wondering, why can't you use plugins?

Thenoman1130: I use toggle downfall frequently as is, though the snow will still accumulate is very isolated splotches since I don't type as fast as I'd like.

DoctorCow2: Biome change would usually what I would go for if it wasn't for the idea that I want to keep the snowfall.

Keytastic: (Just added as I was about to hit post!) You nailed the concept! Unfortunately while this works for most of my other worldpainter maps, the one in question that will be used for my private server has the issue of needing the vast biome variety for its center mod. Otherwise brilliant idea and I will definitely be using that concept with future terrain maps, thanks!

I'll further explain since the initial point may have been missed by some reading.

Let me get this straight. You like the visual effect of snow falling in your vision, but you don't like the snow piling up on the ground around you? I've not heard of a mod will fix that, but I do have an idea that you could try. What if you were to make your own resource pack that has the "rainfall" resources replaced with the "snowfall" ones, and then you could hang out in a place that rains. I dunno if that would work, but it's worth a shot!
