Hi, I have tried to convert a world I downloaded from a survival map into a creative map, I have tried using the single player commands, mcedit and the switching of the level.dat file and I have failed with all three.
Could someone please guide me into converting the file or send me a video tutorial.
I'm using mac os x, please respond.

This is super easy to do once you know how. First download this nbt reader: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/840 ... s-and-mac/ then run it and open the world that you would like to change. Find where it says gamemode: and change it to gamemode: 1 you can also toggle cheats and do a lot of different stuff with this.
Use too many items mod,and just click the little "S"at the top left when U are in your inventory
I guess open it up to lan and put cheats on and type in /gamemode 1?
