Unable to connect to most servers

Not completely sure this is the right place... but it seems like it.
I have been trying to connect to some servers I like to play on, but about 50% of them don't quite work connecting for me. I am able to log on/load terrain, i get on the server and i am always half stuck in a block. After about 2-3 seconds I get disconnected with either Internal Error ..... :Connection Reset, End of stream, all those ones. Not exactly sure what to do, or if there is anything that could solve it.

Trouble-Shooting
- Manually reset your router.
- Move closer to your router.
- Update Minecraft (just in case)
- Remove all your mods
- Put your graphic settings to the lowest possible
