Unable to talk..
I just installed single player commands for minecraft. Everything is working great, however, whenever I type anything into the chat, it tells me 'unknown command'.
I double checked just to make sure I didn't bump the '/' button, and I'm not. I am also able to put in commands without the '/' button and it still works.
Anybody know how to fix this?

EnnenIn SSP or in a LAN world the chat will auto input whatever you say as a command instead of a message because there's no point in talking to yourself in SSP unless you're playing a map with command blocks which would use '/say'

It'll be a little more work, but just '/say <whatever you wanted to say>' to type into chat (may need to have cheats on, though).

No, I don't believe there's any way to change it in-game or anything. You'd have to modify your code or download a mod that already exists to fix it.

No, I don't believe there's any way to change it in-game or anything. You'd have to modify your code or download a mod that already exists to fix it.
This won't actually solve the problem, but you could use Skype to talk instead of chat while playing on LAN, that way you don't have to worry about chat not working.
As far as I know there is no way to change it, SPC automatically picks up everything you type as a command in LAN and SP even without the slash.
