#SOLVED#[LAN/Server Help] Unexplainable Issues.

IMPORTANT:

Yes, I know the LAN function is for LOCAL access, something most do not realize,
hence why I mentioned direct tunnels for VPLAN access. The issue I am targeting is not the LAN's functionality; it is the accessibility of my VPLAN and the routes to my server. I need help configuring port paths, most likely.

I see about 50 of these cases in the forum, but searching all of them for MY exact predicament would be time consuming and a waste thereof, and so here I am.

Hey, I have a LAN/Server issue that I would like some light shed on so that I may play
Minecraft with my friends hosted by my computer like so many of you are able to do,
and the factors at play put me in quite the pickle.

I believe the issue lies solely with my router, but I'll get to that later.

So, others can't connect to my servers or LAN, including if and when a direct tunnel is
used. This would usually lead me to believe that it's port related, but I've opened the
generic server port (25565) on x.x.x.103 and whatever port the LAN decides to use
on x.x.x.102.

Others can't connect to me, but I can use a cracked client like daemon-craft to
connect to it from my machine. I plan to test this with another machine later, as well
as try some stuff on my linux. I have a loathing for Window's due to it's constant
efforts to prevent me from doing something. While that has been stated, I still use
Win7 from my core, and Black XP from a VM for gaming when windows emulation fails
to be enough or too much work for a single game/process that is reliant on a specific
windows tool.

System firewall issues are not possible, I use Comodo which, in short, gives me total
firewall control undermining security and firewall software, native or otherwise, via dll
control similarly to Unix, thus placing any sort of issue related to my computer firewall
out of the picture. If they we're reaching my computer, then I'd be notified and forced
to verify it.

My hunch about the router: I have a two part set-up, A router from Cisco and a cable
modem from Zoom. I believe that the problem MIGHT be due to this setup... Can a
modem have an alternate firewall?

Anyone know what do? My friends who are advanced in the technical workings of
networking and myself are absolutely baffled at this problem, and I would like to find
the cause.
