I tried putting forge 1.14.4 on my Minecraft but all it did was insta crash. now theirs literally no way to get rid of it. ive deleted every single forge file from my computer and even uninstalled Minecraft itself but the forge is still there and it won't allow any other versions of forge I try and install to show up. I can't even delete the version on the launcher page the only options I get are edit and duplicate.

There's a "delete" button next to custom profiles in the Minecraft launcher (see this picture). Are you using a custom launcher or an outdated version of the official launcher?
Interesting, becouse I have multiple forge versions installed and I can remove the forge profile from launcher, anyway -
After installing another forge version, edit the profile and select the version of forge you want to use.
Another recommendation from me is to use different directories for different modded versions (game directory text box while editing the profile)
