Uninstall Forge?
Hello, i want to install the Creepypasta mod for 1.6.2 but i need modloader but i have forge. And knowing that they both are incompatible i wanted to know how to completely uninstall forge from minecraft. I would like step by step instructions. I don't want any arguments and/or opinions on which is better.

There is no Minecraft folder in the .minecraft bin.

You can uninstall forge by simply selecting another profile at the minecraft log-in screen.
Copy your:
Servers.dat
saves folder
Resourcepacks folder
Screenshots folder
Delete the rest then past those four items where all the .minecraft files were. Nest launch minecraft and you will start off with a fresh .minecraft. Forge free!

I am installing Modloader but (going by what he says here, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/754 ... s-updated/) how do i "drag and drop" the modloader files into the JAR (that is open in WinRAR or 7Zip). It wont allow me.
Open up the modloader in winrar or 7zip and place them in the files of the minecraft.jar that is open in winrar or 7zip. It cannot be simplified anymore than it already has been.
What does "Nest launch" mean?
Any other suggestions on uninstalling or removing forge because i have installed both Modloader and Creepypasta but when i go to the Minecraft home screen there is no mods button.
Most modloader mods will be loaded by FML. There shouldn't be any issues unless the mod edits the jar and in some rare cases.

Well, i have 1.6.2. I would like some more suggestions on removing forge.
go to the .minecraft folder, go to versions, then delete the version folder that you downloaded forge in

I deleted both forge versions (i had two for some reason) but when i go to the login screen it still has forge as one of the profiles and no Modloader.
And the Mods button still isn't there.
XD Modloader mods dont need to have modloader! If you have FML (Forge Modloader) Drag the modloader mod into your mods folder. :3 And forge now can read class files on the screen once you open it :3 LOL.
Is Forge the same as Forge Modloader (i know, its a nooby question).
But the mod installing instructions told me to put the mod folder in the minecraft.jar.
I have install FML but when i put the creepypasta mod in the .minecraft mod folder it crashes. But when i put it in minecraft.jar (like it says to do in the installing instructions) i can play but the creepypasta mod is not there, What do i do.
how can i fix this ??

Why do you think Forge and ModLoader are incompatible? If you have Forge, you already have ModLoader.
go to .minecraft open versions and delete the one called forge
