Unique Socket Closed Error

I bought a bukkit server hosted by ServerMiner just a few days ago, and so far it has worked PERFECTLY. But it just started to show up with an error I've never experienced before, 'socket closed.' Here's the exact line in the console:
03.07 23:06:00 [Server] WARNING DSCT: Socket closed
While it doesn't interfere with people playing on the server, it is making it impossible for me to connect with the FTP client. This means I cannot configure plugins or edit permissions at all. Currently my server is vanilla besides Essentials, but I really wanted to add some more plugins (Most importantly, PermissionsEX). Does anybody know how to fix this?
