URGENT: Default Inherits Admin, wont let me delete inherit.

So, I'm in a bit of a bind here. Instead of rewriting all permissions for every rank, I have every rank inherit default. The problem is, I saw that a default banned my admin and when I did /manglistp default, I saw that default inherited t-mod, mod, and admin. I tried to delete the inheritance with /mangdeli default t-mod and I switched it to /mangdeli t-mod default so I know I typed it correctly. The response I got was, "Group Default does not inherits T-mod directly." This means I cant delete the inheritance, therefore I had to whitelist my server.
