Villagers won't pick up bread, carrots, etc??
I'm trying to make my villagers breed. I dropped a bunch of bread, carrots, wheat, seeds, and potatoes but they wouldn't pick any of it up. Please help??

did u update your world to from 1.7 to 1.8?

Try another layer of 40 false houses.
That's a ridiculous amount of work for something that's probably fairly simple to solve.
The best thing would be to do what you previously said, and trade. Although, some of their trades are ridiculously high.

They're attatched to an iron golem farm which will work once they breed. 40 false houses.

I did one trade with each of them to discover that the other trades require a great amount of emeralds to do. Any other way I could make them willing?
