Voting does NOT ask for username

hi I've tried the voting site and when I try to vote for the server it only asks for username which means it won't give them the reward items and makes fewer people try to vote is there any reason why is this happening?

when it asks for your username, it probably means you ign, which is quite possible since the rewards should go to that account. if you're not talking about voting for a server, then i dont know how to help.
