Wanting to Transfer Minecraft to Different Drive

I wanted to transfer Minecraft to a different hard drive to sort muh games and documents. I started changing the directory on the launcher and there were tons of problems while downloading versions.

I use a cracked version of Minecraft, too, so I was wondering if taking the launcher away from the ZIP it came from would affect how it works.

EDIT: Never mind. I figured it out. It's just frustrating though.
