Weird Minecraft Black Screen
I have the black screen problem, but in a very strange way.
The other day I started my Minecraft as usual on my iMac, logged in and the little green bar quickly went across the screen. Then, black. My screen just went to black, like you get when you have not deleted the META-INF folder.
So, I went into my minecraft file and deleted META-INF, I reopened Minecraft but the black screen still did not disappear.
I used 'Force Update', but still nothing.
I then went to the last resort and deleted my entire minecraft folder. I restarted the application, it installed a new file, but the black screen was still there.
I really need help sorting this, and I cannot seem to find a solution myself!
I have an iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with the latest software update.
Anyone got any solutions?

Have you updated your Java?
Apple provides Java in Snow Leopard downwards, as I have the latest software update, I am assuming that my Java is up-to-date.
