What is causing the rapid build up of memory on my server.

I currently run a server that has 5 GB of storage, and 1 GB of RAM, and it is hosted through BeastNode. Lately, I have been noticing a steady increase in the amount of memory being used on the disk, and to explain it visually, the green bar shown in this picture 
had been in the middle of the M and the B in MB just last week, and the total amount being used was around 2500 MB just a few months ago. Obviously it is probably a better idea to address this concern before the memory reaches its limit, so has anyone else experienced a similar problem? I currently run 45 plugins, shown here http://justpaste.it/df69, and most of them are light plugins that don't store things such as player data, which I assume might be the cause of the memory build up. So I would like to hear some common methods of "cleaning out" the server disk space of unwanted/unnecessary files.
