What makes a Minecraft Launcher illegal?
So I've seen a few things on PMC mentioning a thing called Tlauncher, and it's gotten me curious, what makes a launcher illegal? I've never heard of Tlauncher before and the only launchers I've ever heard of are the twitch launcher, the Minecraft Launcher (duh), the Curseforge launcher, badlion, and lunar. So when does a launcher meet the criteria to be considered illegal?
If anyone is curious I use the Minecraft Launcher and the CurseForge launcher, which I believe are both legal, but I could be wrong.

illegal ones are ones not made by Mojang.

I use a non mojang Launcher but have paid accounts. In fact... all of my players use clients but all have accounts lol. We use it for closed community atm.
It's not ilegal we can play minecraft with Tlauncher but it's not ilegal but the only fault is we can join orginal server like hypixel

It gives you mc for free so obviously illegal
But all launchers are polling minecraft .jars from mojang, not bundling them what would be considered redistribution of game and therefore illegal. It may be not intended, but mojang have not done anything about it for last ten years, and they would just have to set requirement for session id for downloading the .jar.
Offline mode is just what is has to be, you don't have connection to the internet (no connection to mojang), but can have connection to home server (lan party).
Yes playing always in offline mode is bit sketchy, but the real culprit behind that is mojang itself.
But ok, lets say all these "reverse engineering" that got us knowledge about mojang api is illegal, then we can conclude that all third party mc launchers are illegal, as they must used it for their functionality. (Not read mc licence in a while, but it would not astonish me if thats the case)
Lets all just someday play on wynncraft together and it will be fine.
