I'm having a bit of trouble in deciding what I should make my server. I know that I need some intuitive and interesting just besides regular old factions. Can you help me?

If you do not know what sort of server you want to create then I am guessing you are either creating this server for money or for the experience of running your own server. Either way, choose which ever gamemode you enjoy most, this will make the whole thing more fun for you and motivate you to make your server the best it can possibly be.
Maybe you should have a pokemon themed game? Like how many Magicarps(fish) can you catch in a certain amount of time. lol sorry if this didn't help
