What is wrong with my server?
Hello, I recently made a Minecraft server based around Factions. I haven't been getting the amount of players I expected and I was wondering if it was something wrong with the server or if it just needs more advertising.
Please list some helpful tips or advice below.
Important note:
- The server is in Beta so it may have a few bugs.
The Server Ip: 192.99.21.216:27293
The Server Website: http://thecrusades.enjin.com/
The PlanetMinecraft Post: http://www.planetminecraft.com/server/the-crusades/
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you all can give me!

Alright thanks so much everyone! It's obvious I need to have something custom coded for the server and maybe spice up the website a bit. Thanks for the help.
As Xslare said.
Also, it would help to offer a unique side to it. There are literally thousands of other servers that offer factions; what makes your server more worth it than those that already have creative side twists or are much larger/older/have more resources?
When you can solidly convince yourself your server is unique enough to play on for a long time... a good community can come easier. Factions i find to just be the base - it's bland without flavor.

Just a few things from a quick look:
Things like getting a domain name for your server would be amazing too, but at this point just make sure you're fully using all of the resources you have.
- Set up an actual home page on the enjin site with some basic information, or even a decent server description and a few pictures. Seeing the enjin log doesn't look that great.
- Disabling all of the inactive enjin modules. Clicking on a link and seeing something that doesn't work or is completely empty is a bit of a disappointment.
- Making sure there's at least a post or two in each sub-forum makes things a little bit more fleshed-out. Nobody likes being "the first guy" to post.
- Make a MFC thread too; getting as much exposure as you can is always a good thing.
