So recently I've been trying to improve my prison server more.
What is it that you guys look for in op prison servers? or do you like it non-op? Opinions and Suggestions are needed!

Servers Honestly need some custom features. Features that haven't been on other servers. Think of it like this. If you have a server that's a prison server, there's a thousand others; some have custom code that draw more attention while others are almost exactly the same besides the maps and such.
You may want to code some of the features for your server, or hire someone that can possibly do it for you. Honestly, Prison servers are hard to get large so you'll need a lot of effort to improve.
Don't get me wrong, its not all about the custom code. Do things like host events which are fun for everyone, make sure your staff team is active and helping the community not abusing power and making players run away.

Ah okay.
I've been running a prison server for almost a year (jan 1st).
I'd say I'm pretty big, I'm just wondering how to get the server out there some more and gain a bigger playerbase.
I'm thinking of dropping around $400 USD in custom builds and plugins just to make the server more enjoyable
