Hello there, I am working on a Sci-Fi Rp/pvp server (I know there's a mass of them, but I think Sci-Fi is something different) and I was wondering, what do you guys prefer people focus on when doing these kind of server. Do you like them to focus more on the PvP or the RP? Would you prefer a mass of quest and a really sophisticated lore, or something more PvP related, such as constant PvP events and battles and such. Also, what are your thoughts on allowing griefing? Is factions a good plugin to use? Please post your opinions in the comments below, thanks!

It completely depends on how it'd be like and how you'd play it like, as you've not shared much information it's hard to do a judgement on the topic.
It was more of finding out weather people liked hardcore rp more than a little bit of rp and focusing on pvp
Is it possible to host servers that are development versions?
cuz then that would be nice, if you can spawn with some starter emeralds if you come across a village, pvp would be something lots of people would like, so some would enter those events as you say, but if anyone would rather stay out of the events and stay to mining or things like that, he should be allowed to do that... (actually that would be an opportunity for griefers, do so at ur own risk)
Well I might've been able to give better suggestions but, I can't cuz for some reason I never get ANY servers on the server list when I open up multiplayer. So I don't know what minecraft multiplayer really is like, and what else I want from it.

I appreciate your feedback, but the events are more of, well, events so like it'd still be minecraft (mining, building, etc..) but there would be lots of events to keep people having fun
