i do not know anything about plugins even though i want to learn but i think what you should do is learn kotlin instead. it has modern programming features and compiles into java and should be way easier to learn. other than that i think learning stuff or terms in programming that are used in different languages would help, like what is a class or an array and how they work.
you should also not just practice learning the language but rather learn how to problem solve, break down a problem into steps and use the tools you have to progress. most good programmers don't really know every command and syntax but know how to break down problems and find solutions for them, even if they are not the most effiecient

so overall, learning general coding terms helps learning any language easier, use kotlin java just sucks, learn how to problem solve and use the tools you have, remember it's okay to not know everything or make the best code
also don't vibe code you won't understand anything you type and won't be able to fix any problems
