I was playing minecraft in a texturepack and the water was all black and written in white letters it said 'use mcpatcher noob' so where can I find it?

Modloader and Forge work on macs. Instead of MCpatcher, I would use Optifine, it does the same thing but speeds your game up and adds more options.
also maybe some kind of modloader you can use for a mac computer?
