Which Online Server to Lease?

In wanting to start my own MC server, I purchased a RedStone, gold tier server and got everything set up.

Problem: It lags like crazy even though it says it's for 32 players and I'm the only one on. It goes down every other minute and I'm constantly having to either wait for the server to resolve or manually having to shutdown and reboot it.

Is there known problems with RedStone?
Would there be any other servers that you suggest?
Is there any plugins that cause lag?
What specs would you recommend for 32 players?

Thanks in advance...

I'm going to use avante hosting. I might use beastnode i hear you get free web hosting. Only thing is there more expensive.

Volt Host has been wonderful for my server. Great admin panel and support, and Dynmap actually works The only real lag has been caused by me being stupid in WorldEdit

i use beastnode, it's 24/7, the staff there are incredibly helpful and deal with any issues straight away and it's also incredibly cheap for what you get, haven't had any lag whatsoever in 3 months on a 64 slot server

I've been using Redstone for months now, but looking at Beastnode, I think I might wanna switch! They're cheaper, and they look much better. Redstone can have some issues, even though their support is good and my server NEVER lags.
newlibertymcI have heard a lot of complaints about redstone but I have never used it myself.

I would recommend beastnode we have run up to 110 players with little to no lag, they have great internet, great support, and great specs. 1GB of ram with beasnode is not the same as 1G on any other hoster, you get a great value.

There are a lot of plugins that cause lag, but it would help if you posted yours. Plugins like nocheat, loggers (like BB, Hawkeye, etc.), anything that checks every action, like movement, damage, or block interactions. Similarly, plugins that autoregenerate areas can cause lag, especially if the blocks are stored in the memory.

For a server that is not near vanilla for 32 players simultaneously, 2GB of memory would be a good place to start.

Avante hosting is what Alcraftraz uses.
