White screen in minecraft?
Hello there, whenever I try to play minecraft, after the mojang splash screen, a white screen comes up and it just stays there until I close that window. No crash, nothing, just a white screen. I tried redownloading minecraft, updating java, updating java jdk, updating my graphics card and allocating more ram still white screen and no success. My minecraft is completely unmodding in anyway what so ever. This happens with every version of minecraft I try. Even the old launcher doesn't work. Help!

I get the same problem, i am running on windows 7. All i get is a white screen, i can still hear the music and all but that's it, just white. I have reinstalled minecraft numerous of times, and i updated java. I can play minecraft in the normal version. this only happens when i'm trying to log in with forge even though there is nothing wrong with it. not sure if I accidentally deleted something i needed while trying to mod it but its all I get.
try deleting the .minecraft folder located In Roaming, if this does not work, try clearing your Temp folder, %temp%, just delete everything in it, it improves overall FPS if its full of things. it just keeps information such as logs. if this doesn't work, try seeing if anyone else has had the problem. i suggest using either windows 7 or 8 for Minecraft by the way. Side note: if its a mac, switch to a PC just kidding. but macs do have a lot of problems.
