WHY 1.10?

So, I downloaded 1.10 and it crashed saying," failed to write core dump, minidumps are not enabled by this client version of Windows." So, I just started playing around and found out a way to "fix" that. I went to edit profile and changed JVM arguments to
-Xmx4096M -Xms4096M. Now it's saying:
I have the latest version of Java, so what's wrong.
