Why do minecraft skins look like this?
so one day i just joined hypixel and now the alex skin and a bunch of others look weird.

This issue is usually caused by malware (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-101579)
Please run a scan with ADWCleaner and see if the issue persists:

Nope, its not that. the skins just dont display their hats and stuff. I have malewarebytes and i dont have any malware. I recently found out it was my client. I use labymod. ever since i installed the motion blur mod (which is officially made by labymod) the skins looked like that. I also think it has to do with Fast Render not working well with motion blur and it causes the skins to look like that. I just uninstalled the mod and everything went back to normal.
Ah yea. Labymod can cause issues since it's a 3rd party client. Glad you found a solution!
This can also happen when the MInecraft skin server is experiencing issues or temporarily down; you can find a bit of information about that here.

Well you have a texture pack on, they can change the default alex/steve skins, and people sometimes use wierd skins.
I know its not the pack, ive turned it off before. i know its not weird skins because in the playerlist, their skin looks fine.
