Recently I brought a new PC only to be annoyed that my FPS in Minecraft is only 7! It lags in other games but CanYouRunIt.com says I should be able to run TF2 and Minecraft fine! The computer is a HP compaq with intel core 2 duo, 4gb of ram and 2.80 ghz in the processor. I've tried Gamebooster, optifine, High priorty, new drivers EVERYTHING to no avial... Help?

If Its 1.7 Then Change your Fps To (Unlimited)
if it still lags then you need a better pc

This probably sounds really stupid to you, but are you sure you've optimized all your ingame settings? (render distance, clouds, graphics, etc.)

Yeah... Altough I am pissed at the guy who sold it to me on ebay as he said: One Terrabyte, 64 bit and 2.85 ghz etc... And yes everything is on lowest!

Minecraft required 8GB of RAM a minimum to play. If you don't own a high end system you cannot play. It is against the law. Sorry, you have to potato more.

The "against the law" part kinda gives away the joke...so at least he's not being a jerk troll that intentionally uses not-obvious-at-first-sight trolls...

Why, because he goes around on the forums and trolls...? That's a good role model.

Enough ram but your CPU is dreadful.

Your processor, awful, that's running only 2 core. Also, try adding more ram to your minecraft. But mainly your processor, unless you have some shitty ass video card. _Best Regards RushingRocks

That's enough RAM. The CPU's fine to me. For me, the problem would be the Graphics Card. So, what's your graphics card?
