Some months ago I downloaded the mod World Edit for Minecraft offline/single player, but it did not work well. Do you know some similar mods?

Well ik you probs wouldn't like this option but i'll state it anyways
You can download a bukkit server and install worldedit on it and play it locally,
and how you do that is you run the server, and for the address just type in localhost

mc edit works the same way except its third party out of game mechanics
