How do i make it so in my spawn mobs dont spawn but in a certian area chickens and pigs can spawn?

They have to be different areas. For example. Make the chickens and pigs in an area called, "farm." and the other mobs called, "spawn."
You can do /region flag spawn mob-spawning deny and in the farm area you call allow mobs but place down torches so bad mobs can't spawn and just put down spawners.
