the world is fine, but since yesterday (for unknown reasons) it won't save. i can't even close minecraft while it "saves" either.
it also doesn't have cheats enabled anymore (despite saying it has cheats on)

edit 2: it works on non-forge for some reason

It could just be a problem with forge itself with interfering with the Minecraft worlds, make sure the version you installed was stable and any other mod for it doesn't do the same thing.
