Hello! I was thinking about making a witch farm and the principles for making one are the same as making a mob system in terms of exploring caves. So, (i know this is probably more trouble than its worth unless you have got large quantities of TNT laying around) would I be able to mine out and/or blow up a 144x144 block radius down to bedrock and just have water at bedrock level? That would destroy all spaces for mobs spawning and I could blow it up with TNT! Please let me know if that would work as I could test it out myself but I dont want to waste large amounts of TNT if it wont work! Thanks!

I meant hollow out the land AROUND the hut! Derp! Should have said that! So if I hollow out 144 blocks all around the hut would it work?

Witches spawn in witch huts, which spawn with the world. If a witch hut is not their, a witch will never spawn. So, this will not work. hope it helps before you waste tons of tnt
