Hi, I want to buy and download minecraft Java and Bedrock for PC, and I have a few questions about it:
First, how to switch between java and bedrock, I think I must use the minecraft launcher, but can someone explain to me how it works?
And second, will I be able to play with my friend if I have minecraft bedrock on my PC and he plays on his pad (bedrock too)?

If you download the launcher(windows store), you should have a green icon launcher - there you can open java and bedrock as you wish. Grey launcher is legacy, only for java. As I far know, you could play with bedrockers from other places(console, pocket), I remember some servers having pocket players.
