I heard of this new thing called https://play.hosting/ made by Tubbo or smth like that, you can try it if you wish, it seems to have better hosting.

It depends, the cheaper it is the less quality you get, have you tried Aternos yet?
yes i have but its very laggy for more than 5 people
can imagine, i used Pebble for my international server and worked fine!
Now i'm still using Pebble host for only building.
You might consider it because its in my opinion great!
Depending on where you're from you can make a deal with the smaller hostings that are local
For me (I'm Dutch) there were enough options that wanted to give a discount for some promotion on your server (a Channel about the hosting in ur discord server and stuff like that)
Pebble is not free but is quite cheap for the quality you get
