Hi guys, i've been trying to port forwarding so my friends can play with me. I've watched all tutorials on YouTube, did all of that and got 2 problems.
This is what i did:
Opened port in Windows's Firewall Settings, added new rules for the 25565 ports with TCP and UDP ports
Turned off all Window's Firewalls
Port fowared in my router's gateway with my internal ipv4 address, with two 25565 ports
Turned off my ISP's router firewall setting
Installed newest Java version and allowed it in Firewall's settings
In server's properties, changed online mode from true to false so my friends with cracked version can join
Here are the proplems i got after all the above:

I could not see your service on [public IP] on port (25565)
Reason: Connection timed out
My friends couldn't join with an error while trying to join:
io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception: connection timed out:no further information:
And with the error above, here is was i did:
Update the newest version of Java in control panel
flushed my dns, renewed, released, resgistered my dns
And still not successful :((
Hope u guys can help me with it.

You need to pay your internet provider extra money to get a public IP its not worth it, instead use ngrok which is free
try using ngrok it always work for me
here is how to set it up www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC-hecmyxr4

Make sure you have a static IPv4 (I believe it's dynamic by default).
make sure you allow the port not the program through firewall and make sure your network is set to private not public since public makes it so firewall settings dont work properly
I'm having the same issue :(
