Server.pro server broken??????
I'm on 1.16.4. I loaded up my online server (through server.pro, if I didn't make that clear by the title) and there's a huge block that's completely respawned in differently. It took out everything in that block, which included my spawn, house, hotel, and farm. I spent countless hours on my stuff and it's just...gone? Everything outside of that block is the same but that block is a totally new terrain. I now have mushrooms (the big red ones) rather than the oak trees.
I'm super bummed about my stuff. There's no backups that will work (apparently it only saves it for two days and it's been broken longer than that...)

Did you play in different version than the version that you first generated the map in?
besides updating, no
Updating causes that.
was it an unloaded chunk? sometimes chunks can be different after an update if they were never loaded
wait. After reading this again I'm not sure I understand. How would I know if it's an unloaded Chunk? is there something i can do about that?
It loaded in, just not the same as the one that was there. It was almost like the game pulled it from somewhere else? So I almost wonder if it's in another place, like they swapped?
It is most likely that this chunk hasn't had a player in it before causing it to be replaced in the update. This would be why it doesn't fit with the chunks around it
or it could have just glitched and been moved or replaced
