[Tutorial] How to play Multiplayer in Alpha/Beta versions

If you ever wanted to play Minecraft with friends in Alpha or Beta versions but had problems with it, here's a tutorial on how to play Multiplayer in those versions.
You need:
First you'll need to download the server software for the version you want to play on here. Move the downloaded .exe or .jar into a separate folder for the server files.
Download and log into Hamachi and create a new network. When created, give the network information to your friends so that they can join your network.
Execute the downloaded .exe/.jar. It should create a file in the folder called 'server.properties'. Open that file in a text editor and change online-mode to false. This is required because of Mojang's new Microsoft account system. After you did that, restart the server.
When your friends joined your network, copy your IPv4 address and you and others will be able to join the server using it.
In case your friends get disconnected by being timed out, check your firewall settings. Your friends need to give Hamachi access to it.
Old servers don't require much RAM, so you should be good. :)
