Hey all, I have a Java Server hosted at Bisect running The Vanilla Experience 1.19.4 as the modpack. That's the only thing currently running on that server.
What I'm wondering about is adding WorldEdit - I've actually never used it but I'm looking to do some larger scale stuff in this server and think it would be handy to have. It's usually just me and my son and/or daughter in there so no more than 3 people on the server at a time.
So is this easy enough to accomplish and will my server run this setup ok? I'm currently on the Premium 1GB plan, I might consider upgrading if I have to but it runs well right now with no issues in the past month since I got it.

So I've been using world edit on my server for a few days now without issue. I've set, copied, pasted as many as 4000 blocks at one time with zero issues other than it takes a couple seconds to re-render.
It's SOOOO useful so far just for copy and paste of a few hundred blocks at a time.

World edit is a phenomenal tool that I have actually used on my server since about 2011 when I first started playing Minecraft (that was back in High school for me) there are a lot a tips to use it effectively more now than ever. If you are into terraforming, I suggest getting a plugin called Voxel Sniper with it, voxel sniper has a bit more of a learning curve to it but it is useful.
Hi Skyd
Small edits might work but editing/copying thousands of blocks would probably crash the server. 1GB is a bit of a squeeze for a server alone on 1.19.4, I think
Haven't been in the minecraft space for a while, sorry if I'm wrong

ya it run runs really well right now actually, I'm not sure what would constitute small edits. I'm thinking mostly things like minor terraforming (not entire mountains) copying things (such as sections of walls to repeat) and maybe loading in some schematics. Maybe I should install it locally first and just test out how to use it first.
that's interesting, out of curiousity I tested with 1GB and it does run surprisingly well. I think things might have gotten better since we used worldedit. Small edits was a bit vague, oops, but what you suggested should work
