What Scot said is all true, and also, make sure you choose the right category for your map so more people will know it when you upload it :D
In the upper right corner of https://www.planetminecraft.com/projects/ is a button "Upload Map"
If you want a bit more of a step by step How To Upload A Minecraft Map To Planet Minecraft — Blocky Duck is a bit dated [pub 03Jun20], but should cover the process if you make a few alloances for the names of buttons having been changed. (Quick search did not find a more recent step-by-step.)
EDIT: if you hava small build, pruning the unused chunks can be appreciated (and can keep you under the 15MB limit)
MCASelector is a popular tool for this although other options exist [Search and read to select what's best for you.]
