Website Feedback

Before I continue, this thread represents the opinion of myself and only myself, and you are welcome to your own opinion. I only ask that you be mature about reading this thread and giving responses. This thread talks about some of the poor experiences I've had on this site and how they censor pretty much anything that conflicts with their opinions or ethics. That being said, I'm aware that this thread will most likely be removed even though it breaks no rules. In any case, on with the thread.
So, I've always had negative experiences on this site, but this last one just about tips it. I have NEVER seen such a poorly run website in my life. The staff are abusive and incompetent, they censor anyone that has a different opinion than them, and then they ban people even though they've broken no rules. Let me provide a few examples. The first of which is a ticket I created this OCTOBER 30TH about an abusive staff member and a bunch of terrible programming decisions this site has made. They only decided to look at the ticket once I had to go into their public chat and call them out on it. I'll provide images of the ticket here.

After that, I had a talk with about twenty different people on different Minecraft servers about PMC's reputation and quality of service. Needless to say they pretty much agreed. After finally getting them to look at the ticket again today once I called them out, I started speaking about the ticket and what it contained on a much more civil and respectable way. The staff member "Azie" then tried to get me to stop talking and threatened me with infractions, even though I had broken no rules. Azie then cited the first rule of the Terms of Use, which apparently I was breaking by posting "defamatory or otherwise objectionable" in the public chat. I would argue that it's not defamatory because this website doesn't appear to have a good reputation to begin with from the twenty or so people I talked with. The fact that I'm having to post this thread to begin with is proof enough. Secondly, "otherwise objectionable"? So everything then. Everything and anything you say the staff can moderate. That is ESSENTIALLY censorship. It's even more ironic because this is a U.S. based company if I'm not mistaken. One of the founding principles the U.S. is founded upon is freedom of speech. I get that this is a private website and such, but still. If they want to get me subject to U.S. law they should at least follow U.S. principles themselves. Another thing that's funny about this is that according to Azie, all of these staff are volunteers. My response was "okay...I mean, good for you guys I guess?" I've known staff volunteers from many other websites who are doing a 10x better job than this. I'm still amused at the fact that it took them a month to finally respond to a ticket I had posted and only got a response when I called it out in public chat. Azie's argument is that there are a lot of tickets and it takes staff time to get to them. I find that hard to believe considering the activity on this site is very low from what I've seen. Barely anyone in chat, dead servers, and more. Again, this is just from my perspective.
Now onto prior incidents. I posted a completely respectable and legitimate review on staff member CraftyFoxe's server because I visited it and didn't like it. That staff member then started to break this very website's rules (which seems to be a trending habit among staff here) by being rude to me, and then proceeded to ban me. After I reported it to another staff member, they said they'd "talk" with him. That seems very lenient considering he abused his powers. Yet when a normal user is perfectly within their rights they get punished. Seems mature to me. Even PRIOR to that I had an incident with a community member who had STOLEN a piece of one of my skins to make his own. When I reported it, the staff punished ME. There were even TIMESTAMPS that indicate when the skins were published, and mine was FIRST. So, even when you are IN THE RIGHT on this website, you'll get punished for it. If this thread gets deleted, that's more than enough proof. If you share my opinion, let me know. If you don't, let me know. This can be a learning experience for all of us if we're civil about it. Thank you for reading.

Talking about moderation issues out here is in itself a rule break, so your premise on not breaking rules kinda falls apart at the start. Further, you lack an understanding of the US Constitution if you think Freedom of Speech has any application over private entities online.

Just to set the record straight before the inevitable, and really, somewhat deserved removal. I didn't put much thought into the case itself due to the sheer wrongness that prevails the arguments made. It looks like a sticky situation that probably has more duality than I'm giving it credit for, but I've long figured there was no point to going on about perceived issues; I've watched, I've shrugged, I've moved on. If a ping from PMC is screwing up your server, your server is undeniably the problem.

Swearing in chat and going on about the site's general incompetence, plus a general Karen attitude, is probably not a good way to make people listen to you over a much more reasoned case that abstains from the dramatic and provides more legitimate feedback and evidence as to why the site is flawed.

I said I was well aware that rules may differ when it comes to online or private companies. The issue isn't my lack of understanding here, it's the lack of transparency and ethics of the PMC staff. Secondly, my problem isn't just with the staff, it's with portions of the community as well. I've been threatened by a server owner who's hijacked code when I offered to help him out with configuring a certain plugin. Also regarding the PMC vote bot, my server was not the problem. I had changed nothing on my server when it was first uploaded on PMC, and it still is. Nothing on my server changed software or hardware wise, but then out of the blue whenever someone voted or I bumped the server list and/or hit save, it would lag my server. It appears the issue since then has been corrected, but regardless it took them a month to finally acknowledge the issue ONLY when I told them about it. Then I've had one of my skins stolen (as mentioned in the thread) and when I reported it, they did nothing about it. That is one of the many definitions of incompetence. It's not a "Karen attitude" if I've proven I'm in the right.
