Crafting Update?

I am currently programming a data pack that improves the Minecraft crafting system by fixing a lot of small problems, like uncraftable items and giving the spike the ability to convert slabs and stairs back into blocks. If you have any ideas or requests for what I can add to this update (for example, have you noticed any small bugs, or other things...), then please write them in the comments.
