I need a help
hello
well, I started to create a datapack for a map I'm making, I want to do something very simple, make a gravel wall fall down, after a while disappear and come back again.
Making the wall fall is easy, but I don't know how to make it disappear after a while, if it was by command blocks I would do it with redstone repeaters, but as I am new in datapacks I don't know.

Hihi! I could help if you'd like!
You can do it with command, and you don't need repeaters!
If you want to tell me your version ~Of Minecraft and Java/Bedrock~ I could write out the commands for you <333

ok, hum, 1.16.5
Ok! I am going to make a world because it would be easier to explain xD
Then you can just learn how, and do it yourself!
How long do you want the wall to stay down before it reloads?

You should make some skins or data packs!

Thats not feasible as:
1. they dont learn and cant make future datapacks by themselves
2. As the youtuber gets more requests to make datapacks, your point fails

Use /schedule as a data pack alternative to repeaters. I will run functions after a certain delay.
thanks, i will try later
Nah..
well whats the point of this comment then
Honestly it'd probably be easier to do with command blocks. But datapacks are pretty cool
I don't have a clue how datapacks are made, though, so I can't help you with it

With command blocks I would have to hide them somewhere on the map or leave a sample.
