Request: Transparent maps? (java)

In maps like skyblock or oneblock if you fill a map, the surrounding empty void that is the sky shows as grey on said map, even when put on an item frame. Is there a datapack that changes that grey to transparent instead?

Edit: Figured it out you can make them clear in vanilla with a glass layer under everything
