This isn't a Herobrine story, he never existed (well, sort of :/)

Yesterday i was walking around in my castle TRYing to find my mine (it was a big castle). I was in high spirits and one of my jukeboxes was playing "mall". All of a sudden when i passed a corridor this huge screaming sound was heard and my game crashed. WHAT JUST HAPPENED!???????

If you have Minecraft running (on the title screen) at the time when you delete the files, Minecraft won't redownload them.

If im not wrong, you go into your .minecraft, go to resources, then newsound, then ambient, then cave, then delete those sound files in there. If you dont know how to get to your .minecraft, for windows 7, go to your start menu and search "%appdata%, then open the .minecraft in that folder. If you have windows XP, hold down your windows button and press R, then type in that box "%appdata%" (No "s on either way), and open your .minecraft from that folder. Hope I helped!

Though I think minecraft auto-matically puts them back in when logging in.

I may be wrong though.

besides, castles if big enough and empty enough can be registered as a cave by the ingame sounds, so that might explain the first, and well npc villages spawn randomly, yours may have spawned over a cave system.

the "violin screech" sound can be lag intensive at moments (i should know), and depending on wether or not you had your speakers blasting, that could be another factor.

The caves explain the sounds, and your game might be crashing because of the sounds. Maybe your computer can't take the data being put out by the sounds? That didn't make much sense, did it? Oh well. I hope you know what I mean.
And don't get mad at me for saying the 'data' thing, cause I don't know much about computers.

Usually lots of caves spawn in minecraft so you were probably walking over another one, not sure why your game crashes though. Maybe try recording it?

When you pass a place with no light, the game will play one of the cave ambient sounds. There's one called "echoeing violin screech" that would sound a lot like screaming. Notch put those noises in to freak you out. But I don't know about the game crashing. Also, you could've been standing on an underground cave system when you heard it.
