Best Mining Method!!! (Possibly)
Want to be a pro miner in Minecraft?
Just read this then!
Benefits:
1.Full diamond armor in a little over an hour of starting survival
2. inability to be accused for using x-ray
3. No worrying about lava!
So here is what I do when I mine, I dig a straight hallway (KEEP READING!!!) at y:11 because you can see the diamond level, y:12 at eye level...yes a straight hallway...surprised? So, diamonds have a certain percentage to spawn per chunk, and sometimes they don't spawn, which means if you strip mine in the same one and already found diamonds you are unlikely to find more,or you won't find any, but when you move quickly through the chunks, there it is a much less likely chance for those to happen. Also, turn your brightness up so you wont need torches (due to the fact it wastes time), you may have to turn your minecraft and computer brightness up.
Another benefit is the fact you aren't moving up and down those branch tunnels, which is a huge consumption of time. Lava will spawn at the block you walk on at y:11, but not to worry! as long as you hold down shift and stay a few blocks from where you are tunneling, you will be fine!
Also, I suggest you carry around a water bucket and turn any lava you see into obsidian, in the case a mob would hit you in it or some other unfortunate thing would happen while near it, or you could carry fire resistance potions around. A sign that diamonds are nearby is redstone and iron ore touching eachother (don't get too excited) it could be in any direction from the ores and is not worth looking for, just continue mining.
This method has served me well and I've played minecraft for around 5 years now. This method surpasses the methods of all the others that I have encountered, I suggest you try it!
Thank you,
