Okay.... I have just got an idea. anyone remember when Notch would update the game often, I mean very often, and there would be a lot of bug fixes.
My Idea: What if the 1.5 update were to be primarily bug fixes and performance improvements? I mean Jeb and Dinnerbone could add a few features, but what we really need is bug fixes, crash fixes, performance improvements. I would be very happy about that.
*side idea*: do you think whoever runs minecraft.net (In Mojang I mean) should change the free Minecraft? Like make Infdev or Alpha free? Like Classic is. Just a thought.

Yes, 1.5 needs to have mod api. they broke their promise of 1.4. Still i think this shouldn't focus as much on content than technical additions (I couldn't think of how to put it.) such as fixes, performance, mod api, etc.
If anything it would be 1.4.3, not 1.5
1.5 <--- Mod API. Wonder what shall happen to bukkit, will it be a transition like heyo to bukkit was...?
1.5 should focus on farming. it should add new plants and add a new way of making bread (Not just putting a row in a crafting table). I would like 30 new crops. What about u?
Hmm, the only thing I would suggest other than stability and performance refinement is to actually get original- I'd like to see them escape this idea that they need to replace plugins with game items because really, I think we'll live with an iron block, especially when it is much cheaper to make than the anvil in the first place.

excuse me for trying to get an idea out to people before the first snapshot of 1.5 comes out and A. snaps people out of the hype of 1.4 and B. secures the probablitiy that this idea will never exist.
