apparently thousands of lines of code, or some huge amount of lines, have been changed, so it may take many many more weeks to finish :/
And on top of that, the Bukkit team needs to implement an API into that.

You're gonna be waiting awhile I am afraid, there are a few issues still to be worked out before Bukkit is ready for 1.7.2.
Any time estimates?
I'm currently try to decide on whether to starts this one build or not.

I know one of the main developers, I talked to them a few weeks ago, they said it could be a while.
