Client side Gui replacement

I have been looking for a good server lately, but one of the problems I have is that, unless I want to play straight vanilla, I have to memorize a plethora of server commands.
So here is my idea:
I imagine a client side mod that will allow you to create quick bars and/or buttons for various commands, either by figuring out what commands are available when you connect to a server, or by having you set them up. If it can't figure them out by server, then obviously you would have to set them up manually. But regardless it should create different profiles (button setups) per server. I imagine it wouldn't be to hard to have the program identify the server when you log into it, thus setting up the custom display. It could potentially be an outside program that "plugs into" minecraft while it is running, kinda like a trainer.
Problem is, I am very new to the world of programming, and have almost no experience with Java. As such I cannot do it. Does such a thing already exist and if so where? If not, would anyone be willing to pick up the idea and run with it?
Another idea for this is to have pre built plugin profiles, for common mods. For instance, if you are on a server that uses both iConomy and Towny, then you can select those plugins and have it automatically create a profile, which you can then customize.

That would be amazing, sadly I can't code if my life depended on it so I hope someone else does it. Although I am good at memorizing commands it would be usefull.
