A corrupted save with a GIANT HOLE?
Okay, so I have been playing Minecraft lately... I was living in a mine because it was really easy. After thousands of hours of mining, I finally found some diamonds and I was taking it with me when I got lost in my mine! (It was a large mine anyway...) I was finding my way out when I somehow died! I respawned and saw myself far away from my mining home (because I made it after lots of traveling without any bed or anything) So I went in a hurry to get my stuff when I accidentally slipped in a GIANT HOLE which I swear I didn't make The hole seemed pitch black (probably crossed bedrock and made it to the void) I wanted to make a bridge but I couldn't. After thousands of tries I still couldnt... I swear this is real... not fake!

I fell in one when I didn't know herobrine was fake. I had tools, and there was a wavy one block wide path to a big room. I freaked out, and quit to go to the bunker.
If you have a superflat world, delete it, then make a new world with the same name, it sometimes takes chunks from the old world and puts them in the new one. This may be your problem, otherwise it's just a missing chunk due to lag or something similar. Nothing strange, really.

...iizzz.... I deleted the save because this time I fell into the hole surviving without any tools and since I was stuck here it was pointless of keeping this save so I deleted it...

World chunk error, I think it might be, happened to me before. Makes a huge hole usually with grass & trees at the bottom.
Uhm, :L I'm gonna have to take a guess on this one..... Because you didn't provide any photos.....
My suggestions:
1) you tried updated the map from like 1.1 to 1.2, sometimes updated the map can cause GREAT problems, especially when putting in a map made with modifications like better than wolves mod.....
2) a friend or brother made the hole, while you weren't looking
3) you recently.... (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻)

1) I didnt update the map! I was playing the same map from the same version... And I dont have any MODS.
2)Lol as if... I was playing Survival WITHOUT ANY MODS! And that hole was FAR away from the house and so far as I remember, NOBODY opened my map except me... And I swear, nobody can mine that far without any mods.
