1.6.1 Dinnerbone Easter Egg!!! :D
My friend discovered on a multiplayer server that upon naming any spawn egg Dinnerbone, it will spawn that mob, but the mob will be Upside Down!! I went onto a single player world (just to make sure it wasn't some weird plugin) and sure enough, it still spawns the mob upside down!
I'm pretty sure its not just my minecraft being weird on me, so try it out! Just name a spawn egg Dinnerbone with an anvil and try spawning the mob!

you can also do a name tag
I spawned 200 upside down creepers, 200 upside down skeletons and 200 upside down zombies high up in the air and then broke the block they were standing on. Too ad it didn't even fill half of my inventory.

Does that mean that this worked in previous versions of the game (1.5)?
I dont think this worked in 1.5 (1.5 didnt have horses)

This works with Dinnerbone or Grumm.
It will also work if you just name a mob with a nametag, using those names; I knew this easter egg before this thread was posted.
It doesn't seem to work on squids, though.

I was actually just about to post about this when I noticed this thread! It does work, and I think it also works for Grum,(m) It flips the Horse around and you can ride it I remembered a few snapshots ago had a post of Grum(m) upside-down and this is where it originated from.
Grumm will work also. I named a horse egg Grum and i spawned about 100 upside down horses

Did you just try naming it 'Dinnerbone'? Don't add any spaces or other capital letters.
