I tried it every possible way; in the nether, while sleeping, while in a mineshaft, even in a stronghold, but the onlly thing i found was when i played it in the end. It wasn't a big difference, but it just sounded slightly different. also i noticed that he was being chased by an enderman because some of the sounds in the disc sounded similar to the new sounds endermen make. One last thing i noticed that it sounded lke he was breathing through a mask.

what i meant was that the whole "I had a brother but he is no longer with us" post notch made about herobrine was made before he stepped down Notch was a huge troll and i expect jeb to be a troll as well (just not as big of one)
um no notch says herobrine is not in the game i dont even have a brother. well i have one that i never met says notch in one of his tweets. also before he steped down.

Never said he had to be a werewolf.... Turning of pages... Perhaps herobrines got a book trying to find the weakness of whatevers following him... Nether mobs bing of the nether easy enough to figure out sickness the dark magic taking over...

3:a being (who is presumably ill due to the coughing) is being stalked by an unknown (presumably evil) entity that makes a noise (the one at the end of the disc) that is heard no where else i minecraft
what the unknown being could be is still up for debate it could be a currently known mob, herobrine, an enderman, or a new uplanned mob, or IT COULD JUST BE NOTCH SCREWING WITH US AGAIN!

My theory: Herobrine is running from someone or... Something That can use a dark form of magic... At the end of the disc the HEROB is the person/thing yelling his name and the bark is the dark magic taking effect turning Herobrine into a wolf or even a werewolf
or steves device turns on him and makes him evil (makes more sense)

im not sure that its running from herobrine im thinking something like steve running from someone/something the thing uses dark magic makes steve into herobrine tells him his name is herobrine and it cuts off there and the dog barking because its crying for its owner

and btw sed11 it's been speculated on what that ending noise is but it is mostly regarded as a wolf bark, knowning how C418 is a music editing wiz so i dont think it was much of a stretch to distort a wolf bark the way it is
Disk 11 currently is relativley unknown, currently all that it is known about it is a person (or something like a person) running on blocks that sound like stone, dirt/gravel, and a few others while being chased by an unknown mob, btw if you listen near the end (before the broken noise) you can hear a distorted wolf bark, dunno if that hints at something or what but an earlier post is right, it does sound like it breathes through a mask

It said Herob at the end and then a dog barks. I put it in a recorder and put it really loud. I think a beast is chasing herobrine
There's nothing in the disc that sounds like a dog barking how could wind sound like a dog barking it is NOT a dog barking O_o

Honestly with all this herobrine stuff i can very well beleive it is but also you have to think about all the possible answers such as the cave noises or just they are going to add the sound of wind. Now personally i do beleive in herobrine because i have seen him no lie (but that was back in 1.7.3) or the herob at the end could just be notch trolling us.
I think it is the story of how Herobrine died. I'm just saying, when mostly anyone hears 11 they think Herobrine is the key to what it means, and I noticed that no one even thought that Herobrine was the one running away.

in all seriousness though i think its an enderdragon that was following him maybe steves predecessor left that cd somewhere in the world with that recording on it for steve to hear as a warning but it got caught in a cave in and was crushed so you cant hear the ending......or something
