wow this is my first poll but it got some good views and I also prefer java because its on more devices you are more likely to play and the mods and even though i don't have a official account my brother shares his so I'm planning to get one in the near future hopefully this year 👍☺

All of my brothers prefer bedrock. I asked them why and they said: "Just because."

Java because it is more customisable and eveything except from realms and the game itself are free and there are more keyboard shortcuts.

Java, because mc bedrock is filled with microtransactions (it's gonna be a pay to win in the future years i think) and less customisable with mods, maps, etc.

yeah, it is customizeable but they call them addons because they need to make sure that any player can play with each other even when someone has a mod and the other doesnt, but you can download 3rd party mcworld files with addons for you to enjoy so that's something.

that is... not how add-ons work. add-ons are enabled per-world and are downloaded directly from that world whenever a player joins. the game does not let you play on a world without its add-ons.

I doubt Mojang will ever make the base game pay to win. Yes, they have the marketplace, but nothing in there affects base worlds with your friends. Games like Minecraft where you can just use commands and switch between Survival and Creative will never be able to be pay to win, not unless they undergo major revamps.

java is like playing the game, bedrock on the other hand feels like a construction kinda game that has more features but just, not good enough.
does anyone understand?

I enjoy Java for single-player and multiplayer servers, but Bedrock for playing with other family members.

Bedrock is good for accessibility (to the base game), while Java is great for that step beyond (expanded community through multiplayer and customising the entire experience through plugins, modding and texture packs).

I agree with that. I prefer Java, but my siblings use bedrock, so it's really nice that I can still play with them on the PC.

I prefer Java because I probably enjoy modding the game more than I enjoy playing it.

java :)

I used to play bedrock but it's just so glitchy.
Also, it's so hard to update bedrock- but like thebaum64 said,
bedrock has great cross-platform features.

Java has more Mods and Texturepacks, but bedrock is much smoother than java

You can also download frikin maps on bedrock Marketplace, but it costs really much Minecoins. No wonder why you never get Minecoins lol.

But java has Shaders, NOT FOR MY CRAPPY PC BRUH
You can combat better in Java, i lose everytime in PvP in bedrock.

for me the hand in java is much better as bedrock. in bedrock i hate the hand . WHAT IS WRONF WITH ME-

But i am a Java Player, Only play Bedrock On Phone and Switch. Rare on Bedrock for PC . IDK WHY I HATE BEDROCK :/

Java has more mods, better plugins for servers, better combat, and more.

Bedrock has way better crossplay, friend support, and a marketplace.

In the end it depends on what you want. Have friends from multiple different platforms? Bedrock is for you. Want a large catalog of mods? Java has it.

Personally, I'm a Java player.
